Yes. Completely free. No premium tier, no credit card, no trial period. You get the full SEO audit, AEO score, keyword suggestions, competitor analysis, and weekly reports without paying anything. I built this out of frustration with tools that hide basic information behind paywalls.
Do I need to create an account or give my email?
No. You paste a URL, click Analyze, and get the full report immediately. No signup, no email, no login. If you want optional features like weekly reports, you can leave your email, but the core tool works without it.
What does the free SEO audit check?
Smart Analytics checks 30+ ranking factors including HTTPS, page speed, title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text, internal and external links, schema markup, robots.txt, sitemap, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and content depth. It gives you an overall score out of 100 with a letter grade and tells you exactly what to fix.
What is an AEO score?
AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization. It measures how well your website can be found and cited by AI tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Claude. The AEO score checks five things: answer structure, entity clarity, citation worthiness, semantic completeness, and structured data. A high AEO score means AI is more likely to recommend your site when people ask questions.
Is there a free tool to check if my website will show up in ChatGPT?
Yes. Smart Analytics at smartanalytics.site gives you a free AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) score that measures exactly this. It checks whether your content is structured so that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI, and Claude can extract answers and cite your site. No login required.
Can I check my competitors with this tool?
Yes. After scanning your site, you can enter up to 3 competitor URLs for a side-by-side comparison. There is also an AI-powered "Find My Competition" feature that automatically identifies businesses competing in your space based on your website content, niche, and location.
Does it suggest keywords for my website?
Yes. After scanning your site, click "Keyword Suggestions" to get a full list of keywords tailored to your content. It generates short-tail, long-tail, LSI (related), question-based, buyer intent, research intent, and trending keywords. Each keyword shows difficulty level and priority. All free, no limit.
Can I get a weekly SEO report for free?
Yes. After scanning your site, click "Get Weekly Report" and enter your email. Every Monday you will receive a report with your current score, any changes from the previous week, and the top things to fix next. Free, one email per week, no spam.

How is this different from paid SEO tools?
Most paid tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz charge $99-299 per month and require account creation before showing any data. It also includes AEO scoring (AI search visibility) which most paid tools do not offer yet.
Can I scan any website or only my own?
You can scan any public URL. Your own site, a competitor, a client site, or any website you are curious about. It works the same for all of them.
How often can I scan a website?
Up to 30 times per hour. Enough to scan, make changes, and verify the fix worked.
Does Smart Analytics store my data?
No. Results exist only in your browser while you are looking at them. Close the tab and they are gone. Nothing is stored on the server. Your scans are not logged or tracked.

Yes. Smart Analytics scans the live HTML of any website regardless of what platform built it. Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, custom-built sites, it all works the same way.
What languages does Smart Analytics support?
The tool works on websites in any language. It also detects your site language and offers to show results in that language. Currently supported UI languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, and Korean.
Who built Smart Analytics?
I built it as a solo project. I build websites for clients and got frustrated with every SEO tool either hiding data behind paywalls or requiring long signup forms. So I built one that just works, for free, for everyone.
Do I need backlinks to rank?
Yes, backlinks still matter. But for most small businesses, obsessing over them is a waste of time and money. A backlink is valuable when a real person on that site might click it and find your business useful. If nobody on that site would ever become your customer, the link is just a number on a report. What actually works: get listed in directories your customers use, write something genuinely useful that people link to naturally, get mentioned in local blogs or industry newsletters your customers read. Avoid paying for "backlink packages" from strangers, guest posting on sites built only to sell links, and chasing high DR numbers that mean nothing to your business. The best strategy for most sites is: make your site useful, make it fast, make sure Google can find it, and spend energy getting in front of your actual audience.
